Corpus of Greek Texts

The Corpus of Greek Texts (CGT) is the first electronic corpus of Greek that was created with the aim of providing a resource for linguistic research in a wide range of both written and spoken Modern Greek genres.

The Corpus of Greek Texts was first compiled as part of a common project of the Universities of Athens and Cyprus and then was funded by the programme PYTHAGORAS. This webpage was funded by the University of Athens programme “Kapodistrias” (70/4/760, Dionysis Goutsos).

For a full list of CGT texts, please click here.

To use the corpus, please follow the webpage in Greek. Use of the corpus should be acknowledged by quoting: Δ. Γούτσος (2003). Σώμα Ελληνικών Κειμένων: Σχεδιασμός και υλοποίηση.
